What is this game?

Derpatron 3000 is a top-down action-puzzler that focuses on indirectly eliminating enemies. Within each level, the player must lure enemies into traps scattered around the field of play. The player does this by moving out into the enemies' line-of-sight and having them chase the player around the field. Once all of the enemies have been eliminated, the level is complete and the player can proceed to the next.

Their are many other gameplay twists that give each level in Derpatron 3000 its own unique challenge. These include teleporters, destructible walls, glass walls. They are introduced one at a time in early levels, but in the later on, multiple special objects are often integrated into a single puzzle. This leads to very challenging and rewarding gameplay.

The Solution is Indirect

Use your cranium to map out clever ways to lure enemies into traps.

When in Doubt, Run

Blue-banded enemies will heedlessly barrel towards you on sight. Red-Banded enemies will pursue you relentlessly, changing direction mid-path to track you down.
