2022 - 2023
This is another one of my music visualizer projects that dragged on over the course of a year. It’s supposed to be a pendant that you can wear.
I’m writing this in June 2026, long after I completed the project so my recollection of what I did is a little fuzzy.
This was my first foray into designing a PCB and getting it printed. The board is really simple and kind of dumb but it was a good way to learn how to go through the motions.
It runs the same software as Music Visualizer 2, but lights up a set of white LEDs rather than strips of colored ones. It’s much more portable but not as fun to watch.
The case is printed with wood PLA. No reason in particular to use the wood, I just happened to have that filament loaded and didn’t care to switch to something else.
